Playful Learning Experiences
I design playful learning experiences that invite kids to be co-creators of their own ideas.
My work blends storytelling, making, and collaboration to spark curiosity and build real skills.
With roots in the classroom and leadership across programs, I now shape projects that translate into museums, edtech, and children’s media. Each one reflects my belief that joyful design can deepen understanding and ripple across every space where kids learn and grow.
A puppet-powered social emotional learning comedy for kids with big feelings.
I created the concept, characters, and learning design framework to help children explore regulation, empathy, and self-expression through humor and storytelling.
Each character embodies a different social emotional theme, turning abstract ideas into playful, tangible entry points. Felt Things reflects my passion for blending media, design, and pedagogy into experiences that are as engaging as they are meaningful.
I designed this game as a playful way to turn empathy into action.
Each card carries a simple prompt such as give a compliment, offer help, or share a smile.
Children co-created these prompts with me to reflect what kindness looks like in their world. As the game unfolds, those small actions ripple outward and shape a culture of care and connection.
Play It Forward shows how a well-crafted tool can move beyond a single activity to transform the way a community experiences kindness.
"You brought me along the playful learning journey, and I see children and learning through a whole new lens."
